Description

The building adjoining to the north of Roper Gateway is an early 19th-century structure featuring three storeys of red brick with some grey headers and brick coping. It has three cambered sash windows with intact glazing bars. The left side shows traces of arcading. Attached to this is a late 19th-century section designed in a matching style, also three storeys high and constructed of red brick with stone coping. This portion includes round-headed arcading, with round windows on the second floor and round-headed windows on the other floors, although two of these have been replaced with double-hung sashes.
