Description
This is a range of six cottages, numbered 31 to 37, located on the south-east side of Canterbury Road. They were likely built around 1830 to 1840. The cottages are timber-framed and have been clad in weatherboard. The roofs are a mixture of slate and modern concrete tiles, with four dormers punctuating the roofline. The first-floor windows of numbers 31 and 33 retain their original glazing bars, and number 37 has a bay window on the first floor. Number 35 has missing sashes and glazing bars on both the ground and attic windows. Ground-floor bay windows are present throughout the range, and the doors are modern replacements.
