Description

Nos 113 and 114 Northgate are a pair of small 16th century timber-framed houses featuring plastered fronts and an overhanging first floor. The ground floor has been rebuilt in brick. The buildings are two storeys high and have a renewed hipped tiled roof with one dormer. They feature 18th century sash windows with intact glazing bars, and each house has a bow window added to the ground floor. There are two doorcases with simple moulded wooden architraves, each containing a six-panelled door. Nos 109 to 114, including No 114A, form a group.
