These are two late 18th-century buildings, number 36 and number 37 Northgate. They are three storeys high. Number 36 has a stuccoed exterior, while number 37 is tile-hung. Both buildings have stone coping. Number 37 has one sash window. Number 36 has a restored casement window. Later shop fronts have been added to both properties. Numbers 28 to 37 Northgate form a notable group.
