Description

St Edmund's School was built between 1854 and 1855 by P C Hardwick. This building features two to three storeys constructed from ragstone with stone dressings and has a green and black slate roof. The southeast elevation has a projecting center and ends, one of which houses the chapel. It includes four gables and four traceried windows, while the other windows are lancets, some of which are double. The elevation facing Whitstable Road is similar, featuring seven dormers along with some mullioned and transomed windows, and it also has a porch.
