Description
Number 71 on Broad Street is a 17th century building that was refaced in the early 19th century. It is three storeys tall and constructed of red brick, featuring one dormer and stone coping. The building has two sash windows, with most of the glazing bars still intact. The ground floor showcases an early 19th century shopfront, which includes pilasters and a doorcase on the left side that has an open pediment, plain pilasters, and a semi-circular fanlight. The reveals are panelled, and there is a six-panelled door with four panels built out, along with one stone step. Numbers 66 to 79 on Broad Street form a group with this building.
