Description

No. 81 Broad Street is a timber-framed building that was refaced in the 18th century. It has two storeys and is plastered, topped with an old tiled roof. The building features one 18th-century sash window with intact glazing bars set in a moulded wooden architrave, along with a bressumer. The ground floor is made of painted brick and includes a double-hung sash window in a bow shape. On the left side, there is a doorcase adorned with a cornice and pilasters, leading to a six-panelled door. Nos. 80 to 89 Broad Street form a group with this building.
