Description

The buildings at 76 and 77 Northgate date from the early 19th century. They are two storeys high and constructed of painted brick, with number 76 additionally stuccoed. A moulded bracket cornice runs along the top. The windows are four-pane sashes. The first-floor windows are accentuated by cornices. Number 77 has a 19th-century shop front, while number 76 features a shop front with a bracket cornice above it. The buildings are listed at Grade II for their group value, forming a group with numbers 76 to 91.
