Description

Cottage Farmhouse is an originally L-shaped building dating from the 16th century or earlier. The angle of the L was filled in during the 18th century. It stands two storeys high and is faced with roughcast and painted brick. The roof is hipped and tiled, featuring a 17th-century brick chimneystack. The building has casement windows, with three windows facing west and two windows facing south. There is a simple doorcase.
