Description
Heart's Delight Farmhouse is a 18th-century building that was originally two cottages and a granary, with two oast houses located behind. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic, constructed of painted brick and topped with a half-hipped tile roof. It features four casement windows on each storey, with the inner windows consisting of three lights. There are doorways at both ends, each with a tile-hung gabled hood above. The central doorway is flanked by low brick walls that end in pillars supporting an iron balcony in front of the first-floor windows, which was once above a loft door. A central gabled projection sits above this area, with the roof extending beyond it for a hoist. This projection is flanked by two gabled dormers. At the back of the farmhouse are two circular oast houses that are now part of the dwelling. The east wall displays the date 1867.
