Description

Nos 3 and 4 on The Borough is an early 15th century timber-framed building that was refaced in the 18th century. It has two storeys and is faced with fishscale tiles. The building features an old tiled roof with two hipped dormers. There are two sashes with intact glazing bars set in moulded architraves, along with later 19th century shopfronts. Nos 1 to 4 and Nos 7 to 21 form a group of buildings that are all listed as grade II. This building also forms a group with Nos 72 to 74 and St Mary Northgate Hall, Northgate.
