These are two early 19th-century buildings, numbers 72 and 74 Northgate, forming a group with St Mary Northgate Hall, and with numbers 1 to 4 and 7 to 21 along The Borough. The buildings are constructed of painted brick, with an old tiled roof. They feature three sash windows with vertical dividers only. Later 19th-century shop fronts have been added.
