Description

Number 16 on Pound Lane is a 14th-century tower that is part of the City Walls and has undergone significant restoration. The tower has a semi-circular shape and stands three stories tall, constructed from flint with stone quoins. It features stone coping, and two modern casement windows have been added. There are also blocked slit windows and a pointed doorcase that holds a wooden door.
