Description

Nos. 3 and 4 Barton Mill Road are a pair of buildings, likely dating to the 18th century or earlier. The side elevation features two storeys, with a ground floor of brick and stone and a first floor clad in tiles. The roof is half-hipped and tiled, with four restored windows. The front elevation is three storeys high and constructed of red brick with a stone coping. It contains sash windows, some of which have been blanked. Two well-preserved doorcases from the late 18th century are present, each featuring an open pediment, pilasters, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panelled door. An end elevation is built of flint and brick. Nos. 3 and 4, along with Watermill, form a group.
