Description

This is a late 18th-century red brick house of three storeys. It has a hipped tiled roof with a stone parapet. The main facade features five original sash windows with glazing bars. Extensions of two storeys project on either side of the original house, each with a single sash window; the ground-floor windows in these extensions are round-headed. A central doorcase has an open pediment, two plain Tuscan columns, and a round-headed opening with a fanlight. Lesser Knowlesthorpe is part of a group with Nos 3 and 4, and Watermill.
