Description
The wall on the south and east side of No 16 (Meister Omers) also forms the west wall of the Memorial Gardens. It is constructed from Georgian brick and medieval flint and stone that has been reused. Notably, it features a reset archway from Christchurch Monastery, which includes a 12th-century round-headed arch with zigzag tracery. The opposite side of the arch displays coil-moulding.
