Description
Cherry Barton is a house that dates from the 17th century and the early 19th century. The front features early 19th century painted brick and a plain tile roof. It has two storeys and a parapet above a hipped roof with end stacks on both the left and right sides. The windows are regularly arranged, with two two-storey segmental bay windows and one sash window on each floor. The ground floor sash window is mid-19th century and is located in a blocked doorway. The entrance is now on the right side of the rear wing, which is 17th century, timber framed with brick infill, and has a plain tile roof. This rear wing also has two storeys, a hipped roof, and a central stack. The fenestration is irregular, featuring wood casements, an outshot to the right, and a 19th century boarded door to the right.
