Description

The George Inn is a public house that dates from the 16th century and has 20th-century alterations. It features a timber frame with exposed plaster infill and is underbuilt with painted brick. The building has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high with a hipped roof, featuring stacks at both the left and right ends. On the first floor, there are three 20th-century wood casements, while the ground floor has five casements and a half-glazed door located in a central hipped porch. To the right, there is a hipped extension with a window, and to the left, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed extension.
