Description
Ashbourne Mill and the adjoining house, located on Rolvenden Road, date from the 18th century. The mill consists of two sections; the left side has two storeys and features a tiled mansard roof with two triple windows and a cambered doorcase. The right side has a brick base with weatherboarding above, a hipped tiled roof, and a lucan. The house, also from the 18th century, is two storeys high, constructed of red brick with grey headers, and has a hipped tiled roof. It includes three sash windows, two of which are triple, with brick heads. The entrance features a simple wooden doorcase with an open pediment, brackets, and a moulded architrave, leading to a six-panelled door.
