Description

Denwood Farmhouse is a 16th-century farmhouse with 20th-century additions. It is timber framed, with tension bracing and exposed timber on the first floor, the rest being plastered infill. The ground floor is underbuilt in red brick. The roof is covered in plain tiles. The house has a hipped roof with a projecting end stack on the left, a ridge stack in the centre-left, and a projecting end stack on the right. The first floor has three wooden casement windows; two blank window spaces are present on the left of a two-storey brick bay. Four 20th-century metal casement windows are on the ground floor. A 20th-century boarded door is located on the left side of a 20th-century extension that is of no particular interest.
