Description

Glenwood Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse, dated 1819. It has a timber frame covered in red brick and features a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high and has a hip roof with dentilled eaves cornice. There is a truncated projecting end stack on the left and a ridge stack located centre right. The left side has three window bays from 1819, while the right side has one window bay that may be from the 18th century. The first floor has four 20th-century wood casement windows, and the ground floor has three, all set in segment-headed openings. To the left, there is a 20th-century panelled door in a gabled porch. To the right, there is a one-storey 19th-century extension with two windows, which was formerly the village school. The left front is marked with "WP." The farmhouse is included for its group value only.
