Description

This is a range of buildings dating from the 17th or earlier, with 18th-century facades, located on the north side of High Street in Biddenden. The buildings form a two-storey structure with attics, constructed of red brick with the ground floor painted. The tiled roof is punctuated by four gabled dormers, and features a wooden eaves cornice with modillion detailing. There are nine sash windows with intact glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor windows of numbers 18, 20, and 26 are small bays, while number 24 has a modern shop window. A footpath in front of the buildings is paved with Bethersden marble, extending approximately 12 yards to the south-east.
