Description

This is a row of cottages dating from the late 13th century to the early 19th century. The cottages were originally known as Borough Place. They are built of colourwashed brick and have a hipped roof with an eaves cornice and eight gabled dormers. There are seven windows in total. Number 93 has a bay window on both the ground and first floors, while number 95 has a bay window on the ground floor only. A segmental arch in the centre of the row provides access to the doorways of numbers 97 and 99, as well as a passage between the cottages. Numbers 79 to 117 (odd) are considered a group.
