Nos 1 and 2 Burgess Row are two-storey buildings dating from the 18th century to the early 19th century. They are weatherboarded and feature a half-hipped tiled roof. The first floor has three altered casement windows, while the ground floor has two sash windows and simple altered doorcases. These buildings form a group with Nos 1 to 10 Mayor's Place.
