Description

The buildings at 112 and 114 High Street were originally built as a single house, dating to the 18th century. They are now subdivided. The buildings are timber-framed and have three storeys. The front is weatherboarded, and the roof is hipped with tiled covering and an eaves cornice. There are three sash windows with original glazing bars on each upper floor. Two bay windows are present on the ground floor. A doorcase is situated between the bay windows, featuring pilasters, an open pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panelled door. The buildings, along with others from numbers 112 to 134 on the north side of High Street, form a group of buildings of group value.
