Description

30-32 and 34 Church Street, known as Cragmore House, is a pair of houses and a restaurant built in the early 19th century and extended in the late 20th century. The buildings are constructed of painted brick and feature a plain tiled roof. They stand two storeys tall with a basement, showcasing dentil eaves beneath a hipped roof. There are stacks located at the center, center right, and at the rear.

On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows and a four-light wooden casement window to the right. The ground floor includes two glazing bar sashes and a tripartite glazing bar sash, all with segmental beads. To the right, there is a plate glass shop front with a glazed corner door. A panelled door with a glazed top panel and a pediment on pilasters is located to the center left, while a half-glazed door with a cornice hood on pilasters is found to the center right. There is also a basement opening to the left. The rear of the property features extensive hipped red brick ranges.

The buildings do not appear on the 1746 map of Wye and are not mentioned in the 1829 History of Kent.
