Description
Robhurst is a timber-framed building, dating from the 16th century or earlier, likely of Wealden type, featuring plaster infilling and curved braces. The ground floor has been rebuilt in red brick. The first floor of the south-westernmost window bay was probably once jettied but has been underbuilt and is now covered with weatherboarding. The eaves of the rest of the house overhang with a cove beneath and are supported on a bracket at the south-west end. The building has two storeys and a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof with a pentice at the north-east end. There are three casement windows, mostly with small square leaded panes. Inside, the house contains an inglenook fireplace and the remains of the dais beam.
