Cherry Gardens is an L-shaped building, likely timber-framed, dating from the 16th century or earlier. It has plaster infilling and was refaced in the 18th century. The south front is weatherboarded, and the building stands two storeys high. It features a hipped tiled roof with a pentice on the west side, two casement windows, and a doorcase with a flat hood above.
