Description
This is a building on High Street, likely dating from the 16th century, originally timber-framed with plaster infilling. Close-studding is visible on the ground floor, and the first floor projects outwards, supported by brackets with curved braces. The roof is tiled, and features a substantial brick chimney stack from the 16th century. Three casement windows are present on the first floor. On the ground floor are two small, canted bays, each containing sash windows with their original glazing bars intact. Some original window openings have been preserved. The door is protected by a doorcase and features a door constructed of two fielded panels.
