Description

This is an 18th-century house, dated 1761, located on the south side of High Street. The building is constructed of red brick with grey brick headers and has a tiled roof with three dormers that have a hipped shape. It features a cornice and parapet. The first floor retains five sash windows with original glazing bars. A modern, single-story shopfront extension has been added. Originally, two bay windows were present on the ground floor, but these have been replaced with two shops projecting forward. The original doorcase has been incorporated centrally within the shopfront; it features Tuscan columns, a frieze decorated with triglyphs and paterae, and a triangular pediment displaying a coat of arms in the tympanum.
