Description

Forge Stores is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building that has been refaced. The north-east side is finished with red brick, while the south-west side features red brick on the ground floor and tile-hanging above. The south-east side has a modern shop front. The building is one storey with attics and has a hipped tiled roof with two gabled dormers. There are two casement windows and a 19th century porch with a shaped Dutch gable.
