The Forge is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building. It has been faced with red brick on the ground floor and is tile-hung above. The building features a tiled roof and casement windows. There is a modern gabled porch at the entrance. The structure is one storey with an attic and has four windows along with four gabled dormers.
