Description

The former granary at Birchwood Farmhouse dates from the 17th to 18th century. It is a single-storey building constructed with close-studding, featuring diagonal braces and thick corner posts. The roof is hipped and thatched. The base of the structure was likely originally supported by saddle stones, which have now been filled in with red brick.
