Description
The barns located 100 metres northeast of Borough Farm House are listed from the 17th and 18th centuries. They feature a timber-frame construction with weatherboarded sides set on a brick plinth, and the roof is partly thatched and partly tiled. The main barn, which has six bays, is positioned along the roadside, while an attached five-bay barn projects towards the back, oriented towards the yard. Both barns have aisles. A canopy porch with double doors is present at the centre bays on the roadside. The bay and end bay of the barn on the right side have a lower ridge and also feature double doors. The roof is tiled at the lower section and thatched higher up. Inside, there is a queen post roof.
