Description

The reassembled ruins of Netley Abbey, located 5 meters north of The Castle, consist of 13th-century masonry that was moved and reassembled in the mid-18th century. The structure features dressed and rubble stone. The ruins include the north transept of Netley Abbey, which has a pointed arch supported by clustered shafts, a buttress on one side, and additional shafts on the other side. There is also a separate large stone pier with more shafts at the angles.
