Description
Raglington (Old) Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, featuring a timber frame with an early 19th-century extension and cladding. The brick walls are constructed in Flemish Garden Wall bond, with some sections in English bond, and have cambered openings. The roof is steeply pitched, hipped at the west end, and has a low eaves above an outshot, with a catslide at the rear and a small gabled dormer. The original building has been extended on three sides, with the south front consisting of two storeys and three windows fitted with casements. A 20th-century porch has been added to the east side, replacing a central doorway that has been converted into a window. The massive frame of the house is exposed on the interior.
