Description

The Westgate, located on the south side of High Street, is a historic building primarily from the 13th and 14th centuries. It is constructed of flint and stone and features a central arch with smaller arches on either side. The east front is supported by large buttresses. The Westgate is notable for being one of the two remaining city gates.
