Description

This is a table tomb located 4 metres south of the south aisle of St. Peter's Church in Bishops Waltham. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of stone, featuring a rectangular shape with a moulded cover slab. The corners have pilasters that are formed of rusticated quoins, and it has a moulded base. An oval panel on the tomb includes an inscription referring to Thomas Prior, who died in 1796.
