Description
Nos 12 to 18 St Peter Street, along with No 80 North Walls, form a formal terrace built in the early 19th century, specifically in 1833. The terrace consists of three storeys and an attic, constructed from yellow stock brick with string courses between the floors. It features a small stucco cornice and a parapet, topped with a slate roof.
Nos 12 to 14 and No 80 North Walls have stucco door surrounds with Roman Doric pilasters and an entablature above, along with small fanlights. There is a slightly recessed bay with a yard entrance at ground floor level, and a brick pedimented surround to the first-floor window. Nos 15, 16, 17, and 18 display elliptical brick arches over their doorways, also featuring fanlights. Each house has two windows, which are sashes with glazing bars, and there are iron railings present.
