Description
Littleton Lodge is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick, now rendered, with an incised lines slate roof. The house is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays by two bays. A central projecting porch with a flat roof contains a 4-panel door from the early 19th century, with a fanlight above. Slightly projecting rectangular bays flank the porch, also from the early 19th century, and feature tripartite sash windows with 8-pane centres and 4-pane side sashes. Above these are three early 19th century 6-pane sashes. A narrow half bay full-height addition was made in the mid-19th century, and a conservatory was later attached to its end. The roof is hipped with wide, boxed eaves, and cast iron lion heads adorn the guttering.
