Description
No 10 The Square is a building dating from 1833, located on the north side of The Square. It is a late 18th century to early 19th century structure made of red brick, featuring a blue brick band at the second floor level. The building has three storeys and three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor includes an arched door with a decorative fanlight, along with a modern shopfront. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there is a modillion cornice. This building also incorporates No 17 Little Minster Street, which is a 17th century timber-framed wing that has been modernized. The listed buildings on the north side of The Square, from No 10 to No 25, form a group.
