Description
South Lodge is a 20th-century copy of the north lodge, constructed in stucco with a slate roof. The lodge is of a simple classical style. The symmetrical north front features a two-storeyed square block with two windows, flanked by single-storeyed square wings that project forward on each side. The low-pitched pyramid roofs have wide eaves supported by carved brackets, set against a moulded fascia. The walls are plain, with a first-floor band at the centre and a plinth. A blank panel is positioned above the central doorway. The windows are metal casements, and the panelled door is set within an architrave.
