Description
Bridgefoot Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse, possibly dating from an earlier period. It is constructed of brick with a weatherboarded store and features a thatched roof. The building is oriented with its end facing the road and consists of two storeys and two bays, with an outshot bay at the far end and an outshot store at the road end, along with a rear outshot.
The front of the farmhouse has a flat-roofed 20th-century open porch situated between the bays, and inside there is an 18th-century planked door. Each side of the main structure has a three-light casement window under a segmental arch, and there is a two-light similar window in the outshot. On the first floor, there are three-light casement windows in each bay. The weatherboarded store has a door, and there are stacks at each end of the two bays. The roof is swept down at each end and to the rear.
