Description

Forge Cottage and Robins Roost are an irregular pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, with some restoration carried out in the late 20th century. They are constructed from brick and thatch, featuring a front elevation that is one storey high with an attic, and has three windows above four. The hipped roof has eaves that are raised above the upper windows. The walls are primarily made of painted brickwork in Flemish bond, with some exposed timber framing. On the west side, there is a section of flint wall with brick dressings, while the east side includes some 20th-century painted brickwork. The cottages have casement windows and plain boarded doors.
