Description
Quarley Down Farmhouse is a house built in the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the early and late 20th century. The building features a symmetrical front facing south, consisting of two storeys and three windows, with the centre window filled in. The walls are made of brick with a high plinth, and there are casement windows. A large porch from the late 19th century, which has a hipped tile roof, is located at the front. The other sides of the house have flint walls with brick quoins, bands, cambered arches, and a plinth, also featuring casement windows. The west elevation has the main entrance, which is a 20th-century porch adorned with a decorative barge-board on the gable. There are further extensions at the rear that are of a similar style.
