Description

The Stables is a house dating from the 18th century that was restored in the mid-20th century. Originally a stable and cartshed associated with the Old Farmhouse, it was converted into a dwelling around 1950. The building has a narrow, curving shape and originally faced the farmyard. It is one storey with an attic and features three windows on the roadside. The roof is hipped, with eaves raised above the upper windows. The walls are rendered with brick quoins, and it has casement windows. The inner face includes an open porch with an upper floor and a boarded door. The building is included for its group value.
