Description

Brookside is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed of brick and slate. It features a symmetrical front facing southwest, with two storeys and three windows. The low-pitched hipped roof has wide eaves. The red brickwork is laid in Flemish bond with blue headers and has Dutch flat arches with stone cills. The windows are sashes set in reveals. There is a 20th-century brick porch with a parapet and flat roof, as well as a 20th-century single-storeyed wing that is set back at the southeast side. The building is included for its group value.
