Description

Yew Tree Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on Main Street in Barton Stacey. It is constructed of brick and features a tile roof. The symmetrical front, facing east, has two storeys and two windows. The building has brick dentil eaves, and the walls are laid in English bond with a flush band of blue headers on the first floor and additional blue headers in the lower wall. The ground floor openings are cambered, and the windows are casements. The entrance includes a six-panelled door set within a solid frame, and there is a 20th-century open gabled porch with timber framing on brick side walls.
