Description

The churchyard wall and cross date from the early 19th century. The wall is made of brickwork with horizontal bands of flint and features a stone capping. At the corner of the wall, there is a fragment of a medieval cross, which consists of a short stump on a square base made of oolite. This cross is said to have originated from Llanthony Abbey in Gloucestershire, to which the rectory was connected from the 13th to the 16th century.
