Description

Bridge Cottage is a house that originated as a 17th-century timber-framed building, but it was mainly constructed in the early 19th century. The structure is made of brick and has a slate roof. The front, which faces east, is regular and features two storeys with five windows. The walls are built in Flemish bond and include cambered arches on the ground floor, a plinth, and some horizontal flint panels on the north side; all of which are currently painted. The windows are modern casements, and there is a 20th-century brick porch topped with a tile roof. Inside, part of the timber frame is visible, and there is a large chimney breast.
